Working Pattern: 3 days in the office

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Potential Earnings including commission:

Year 1: £40,000 – £55,000

Year 2: £60,000 – £75,000

Spirehouse Recruitment is a growing specialist recruitment business with ambitious plans for expansion.

Our Public Sector Legal division specialises in locum and interim legal recruitment across local government. We operate in a specialist, candidate-short market where there is significant opportunity for the right person to build a successful and highly rewarding desk.

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant with previous recruitment experience to join the team and take ownership of developing their own desk within an established and growing market.

The Role

This is a 360 recruitment role, covering both client development and candidate recruitment.

You will:

• Develop and manage relationships with local authority clients.
• Identify and win new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a network of legal candidates.
• Manage vacancies from initial instruction through to placement.
• Work closely with the Director and wider team as the business continues to grow.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Ambitious, commercially driven and motivated by results.
• Confident dealing with clients and candidates at all levels.
• Comfortable developing new business and building long-term relationships.
• Organised, resilient and self-motivated.
• Prepared to work outside standard hours when required.

Previous recruitment experience is essential, but we're open to candidates from different recruitment backgrounds. Experience within legal, professional services or public sector recruitment would be advantageous.
